Welcome to EmergencyMessageSystem.com! EmergencyMessageSystem.com (the “Site”) is an Internet property of Phoneticom, LLC (“The Emergency Message System,” “we” or “us”). We have created this privacy policy & statement (the "Privacy Statement") in order to disclose our information gathering and dissemination practices.  We understand the importance that Internet users place on privacy and have designed our service with this in mind.  The Emergency Message System™ is fully committed to 100% permission-based marketing.  You agree to this Privacy Statement, in its entirety, when you:  1) access or use the Site; 2) agree to receive e-mail from us; and/or 3) register for and/or use The Emergency Message System™ Service (the “Services”).

IP Addresses
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Site. Your IP address is used to gather broad and specific demographic information as well as for validation purposes.

We use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests, to save your password so that you do not have to re-enter it each time that you visit our Site (if you choose), and for other purposes. Sharing of Information:
We will not share, or otherwise use for marketing purposes, the names and contact information that you provide for your emergency contacts. The Emergency Message System™ reserves the right to release current or past user information:  a) in the event that we believe that the Site and/or the Services are being or have been used in violation of the Terms and Conditions or to commit unlawful acts; b) if the information is subpoenaed; or c) if The Emergency Message System™ is sold or acquired.  Moreover, you hereby consent to disclosure of any record or communication to any third party when The Emergency Message System™ , in its sole discretion, determines the disclosure to be appropriate including, without limitation, sharing your e-mail address with other third parties for suppression purposes in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, as amended from time to time.

The Emergency Message System™ creates internal reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for our advertisers and partners.  The Emergency Message System™ may include your personal information in our reports. This information allows our third-party advertisers to deliver, and our users to receive, more relevant advertisements.

The Emergency Message System™ reserves the right to transfer and/or sell aggregate or group data about EmergencyMessageSystem™ users for lawful purposes.  Aggregate or group data is data that describes the demographics, usage or other characteristics of EmergencyMessageSystem™ users as a group without disclosing personally identifiable information.  By submitting your personal information to, and/or using, the Site, you agree to allow The Emergency Message System™ to transfer and/or sell such aggregate data to third parties.

This Site may contain links to other third-party owned and/or operated websites. The Emergency Message System™ is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. Additionally, marketing partners provide certain components of our service. Some of these marketing partners may require the transfer of some or all of the registration data that you supplied to The Emergency Message System™.  When necessary, The Emergency Message System™ provides this information to our marketing partners. We reserve the right to change or update this Privacy Statement at any time by posting a notice at the Site explaining that we are changing our Privacy Statement.  If the manner in which we use personally identifiable information materially changes, we will notify EmergencyMessageSystem™ subscribers by: a) posting the changes on the Site; b) sending the modified policy to subscribers via email; c) placing a link to the modified policy on the homepage; or d) any other reasonable means acceptable under federal and state laws.
